The CELMAD Association (Center of Excellence in Leadership and Management for Development) recently held a crucial meeting on its strategic plan for the 2024-2029 period. This event, which took place on April 20, 2024, at the Radisson Blu, brought together association members, management experts, and key partners. In addition to in-person participation, CELMAD members also joined the meeting via Zoom.
The meeting opened with a welcome address by CELMAD President, Mr.Fodé Ndiaye, who emphasized the importance of this working session in defining the strategic direction of the association for the next five years.
Participants then attended a detailed presentation of the draft strategic plan by Mr. Dogo Seck, President of the Strategic Orientation Committee. The session was expertly moderated by Mrs. Maty Ndiaye-Sy, a member of the Board of Directors, assisted by Mrs. Ndeye Astou Fall, a CELMAD member.
The discussions were lively and constructive, with each participant having the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions. These exchanges helped refine priorities and validate the strategic objectives.
This engaging session laid the foundation for a promising future for CELMAD, aligning its actions with the evolving needs of the sector and the expectations of its members and partners. The session’s conclusions will contribute to enhancing the strategic orientation document, leading to its finalization and approval.
